If you are having trouble with your cable modem, please follow the steps outlined below.

Are the lights on the modem lit, but you have lost your connection?
  • Unplug the power from the modem for 45 seconds
  • Plug the power cord back into the modem and watch the front panel.
  • If all lights go green, your connection is working properly.
  • Reboot your computer


  • Have you installed any programs?
  • Try uninstalling the programs and rebooting.


  • Are you using a hub or router?
  • Configure your connection straight through the modem.
  • Reboot the cable modem after reconfiguration.


  • Did you buy a new pc or try to insert a router?
  • Reboot the cable modem after changing any hardware.


  • Are you trying to connect with more than one pc?
  • Unless you are using a router, you will need to call CAS for any additional connections. There is an additional monthly fee.
